My passion lies in the tiniest and most intimate of wedding days, therefore, I primarily photograph micro-weddings (50 guests or less). I believe in a simplistic, documentary approach to a wedding day, with minimal posing and more of a relaxed, "just do you" vibe. I will guide and direct you in posing, but you can guarantee there will be little of you looking at the camera. I value interaction and authenticity, capturing the day exactly as it happens, for better or worse!

I photographed large, traditional wedding days for over eight years. Every now and then, sprinkled in among the ten hour day weddings, were micro-weddings and elopements. As those celebrations ended, I walked away from the day feeling refreshed and inspired. I decided it was time to direct my focus to where my passion has always been. So, while I primarily photograph smaller weddings, I do take on a handful of traditional wedding days each year. These are chosen on a case by case basis, and are completely customizable - meaning you tell me everything you are dreaming of for your day, and I will price accordingly. Preference is given to destination weddings, venues on my bucket list, and love stories that really resonate with me.

Absolutely! The collection is just a basic starting point. If you would like an engagement or bridal session, a second shooter to accompany me, a couple extra hours for a couple extra moments, let me know and I will draw up a Proposal that perfectly fits your unique needs and wants.

Usually a year in advance is the norm, but I will book a little over a year or even next month if I'm available on your date. As with most major wedding vendors, the sooner the better, because our calendars fill up fast, especially during peak spring and fall wedding seasons. I only accept a small amount of weddings each year. I like to be intentional with my couples, give them all of me, and always have time for them, so placing limitations on myself keeps me in check and allows me to serve my couples in an exceptional way.

In order to lock in your date, you need to sign the contract and provide a 30% non-refundable deposit. The balance of your wedding package is due at least two weeks before your wedding date, and I'm flexible in how that can be paid. You can pay it all at once, in installments, or however it best works for you. As long as you're paid in full before you walk down the aisle, all good!

Yes, and please! I'm based in Charlotte NC, but I'll go anywhere. For weddings and elopements beyond 50 miles roundtrip of my home, there is a travel fee in addition to the wedding collection amount. For destination weddings (locations requiring flights/accommodations), you're responsible for covering all of my (and my second shooter's, if applicable) travel expenses, including (if applicable) roundtrip airfare, rental car/ shuttle, and hotel accommodations for the length of time we agree on. But, I promise, I travel well!

I value quality over quantity, so I handpick the best of the best images from your day that accurately tell your story. I don't box myself in with an exact number of images you'll receive, as every wedding day is unique.

Nope! Part of the beauty of photography and one of the parts that makes one photographer different from another is their editing process. I take pride in shooting, but also and just as importantly, taking those images and creating art out of them. I don't outsource editing or over edit, but my editing process is what makes me stand out and what brings my style alive. To provide unedited images to my clients wouldn't be a fair representation of my work, and in turn, wouldn't show potential future clients what I can provide them.

You'll receive all your digital images via an online album called Pixieset. Again, I like to keep things simple, so I offer the option to order prints, canvases, and more, directly through me. As you click through your digital album, you can order prints and products at the same time. I also include a complimentary softcover photo book with each micro-wedding collection - a casual album loaded with some of your favorite images from your day.

I pride myself on a quick and reasonable turnaround for weddings. Who wants to wait months to see their big day photos?! I know I sure wouldn't, so I wouldn't do that to you. I post 20 sneak peeks on my Instagram page within 24-48 hours after your wedding day, and then usually within 4 weeks (most of the time, sooner!) you'll have your wedding album in your digital hands to drool over and spam all your friends and family with.
