There are some sessions that remind me exactly why I love what I do, and this maternity session was one of them.
I knew this maternity session was going to be a home run, but I had no idea it would exceed every expectation. As a Charlotte maternity photographer, one of the greatest joys of my job is walking alongside my couples through every stage of their story. Having photographed their engagement session and their spectacular wedding day a few years ago, it was incredibly special to capture this exciting new chapter as they prepare to welcome their first baby.
Watching my wedding couples become parents is something I'll never take for granted. It's such an honor to document these milestone moments and create photographs that they'll look back on for years to come.
For this session, we met at one of my favorite natural light studios, Shutter Studio. The clean, modern space provided the perfect backdrop, allowing every image to feel timeless while keeping the focus exactly where it belonged — on this beautiful growing family.
