This morning went a bit like this …. the tiniest of weddings with the biggest of hearts. Debbie and Rich chose to become husband and wife on a lakefront beach with a handful of family and friends cheering them on - not to mention a stray duck that joined in on the vows. So happy I could capture these small moments for this lovely couple.
How did you meet? We worked together (for 5 years) at C. R. Onsrud . Rich has now been with that company for 17 years. It's funny, we never dated when we worked together. I was laid off 2009. I went back to school in 2010. We did talk and see each other occasionally , after I left. One year later on Cinco de Mayo, I called him, and asked what he and his friends were doing, and came to Cornelius to hang out with them. We started dating from that day, so it has always been our anniversary :) I I moved in with him one year later in May 2011.
How did he propose? Neither one of us actually "proposed". We talked about how much we loved each other, and that it was serious for me to move in with him. About a year later, I told him I found an engagement ring I wanted. That's how we became engaged LOL
For the Groom | What do you love most about your girl? She's the kindest, most loving, caring person I know.
For the Bride | What do you love most about your guy? The way, he loves me, he would do anything to make me happy. He is a smart, hardworking man. When he makes a decision about something, he makes it happen.
