This wedding day was a vintage dream. The rich florals, the historic train depot venue, the classic car, the pup of honor … everything was stunningly beautiful and a joy to photograph. Melanie and Matthew pulled out all the stops for their special day, and they did good. Congrats to these high school sweethearts, and thank you for letting me capture your day!
How did you meet? In high school marching band
How did he propose? He proposed in December of 2021 in a park in our hometown! My mom told me we had plans to go see the Nutcracker, as we normally do at Christmas. She wanted to drive through the new park to see the Christmas lights on the way to the show and when we got there Matthew was waiting on me in a historic gazebo in the park! We celebrated afterwards with our family at one of our favorite Salisbury restaurants.
For the Groom | What do you love most about your girl? I love how Melanie has helped me become a better person. Her personality is infectious. She always gets me out of my comfort zone so that I can try new things. She has opened my mind to more genuine ways of thinking. I couldn't have done these things without her!
For the Bride | What do you love most about your guy? I love so much about Matthew, but a two of my favorite things would have to be his laugh and sense of humor! His laugh can bring me out of a blue day instantly. I love how much he loves me and how he has done so the past 10 years!
