This engagement session happened at the lake - in the same park where they became engaged. With the funnest couple who brought all the energy, love, and giggles. Even more special to my heart is the fact that Rachel and Andrew attend my church, and she watches my baby in the church nursery. It’s a true honor to capture their moments, both last night’s and on their upcoming wedding day in the fall. I know their marriage is going to be a beautiful witness to the love of Christ.
How did you meet? Andrew and I met at Appalachian state. I was friends with his sisters roommate and he came up to visit her. We instantly just had so much to talk about. He seemed to care more about my character then the fact I hadn’t showered and I have no makeup on at all. That was something I never experienced.
How did he propose? He took me to Jetton Park with me having absolutely no clue what he was going to do! (Even though we had never been there before I never picked up on it loll). We walked over to the gazebo where he propped his phone up to take a photo. Next think I knew he was on one knee next to me with a ring box. I’m literally didn’t believe him and thought he was messing with me haha. It was such a loving and sweet moment though. It was just us and I loved it!
For the Groom | What do you love most about your girl? I love the way you look at me like no one else is around and how you always push me to do my best
For the Bride | What do you love most about your guy? I love his heart for Jesus and for others. He also makes me laugh all the time even when we are working through issues. He is so kind and gentle with me but also pushes me to be better and to reach my goals
