This session I had during golden hour was insane and I just have to share all the goodness. Lisete and Derek brought all the feels … I’ve never laughed quite so hard at a session before. They were so ridiculous, it was perfect. I just stood back, let them do their thing, and snapped away. Congrats to these two amazing human beings - and I know their Vegas destination wedding in the spring will be every bit as fun as tonight was.
How did you meet?
We met at work. He asked me out a few times and I declined, lol. A few months later, I decided to give him a chance, and that was happily ever after!
How did he propose?
He took me back to the place where he rescued me. Our very first date began with my car breaking down. He texted me and I immediately called him and said I needed help. He drove over an hour to come to the Harris Teeter parking lot and fixed my car. After that we went to dinner and have been together since. A few months later he took me back to that exact parking lot, put music on and we danced. Then, the unexpected happened, he was down on one knee.

I love your beauty. I love everything you do for me and our boys. I love that I can fully trust you. I love your compassion. I love how we can joke and be ourselves fully. I can go on and on baby.
For the Bride | What do you love most about your guy?
His kindness. He is the most understanding human ever! He goes above and beyond to ensure that I and the boys are taken care of. Even on my worst days, he has the patience to just love me for me.
