This couple, referred to me by an amazing local photographer who I personally know, have worked with, and who inducted me into the wedding fanny pack club, is just plain awesome ... from their first Bumble date that turned into "The Great Amelie's Mix Up" to their passion and love for traveling (when I first FaceTimed with them, they were leaving for Morocco literally the next day) to their tiny little pup Rizzo who works the camera like a pro to their upcoming uber modern art gallery wedding, they are my ideal clients in every way possible!
We started their engagement session in Noda under a threatening sky - seriously, what else is new around here - and moved to their home for a quick outfit change and a set with the most adorable fur child I've ever seen. After the skies opened and shut, we headed uptown to the place where their love story all began - and I resisted macaroons, yes - and finished up at the super moody Sophia's Lounge, which was a dream come true for this dark photographer. Talk about variety in an engagement session! It was perfect, utterly fun, and a beautiful challenge.
