Sarah + Michael's Camp North End Takeover

This was an evening of pure perfection, from the dreamy overcast skies and reflective puddles to the giddy joy and innocent beauty of this couple.

Their wedding and forever love story started with a puppy proposal in the spring of this year that was picked up by Petco and the local news (not captured by me, but by another talented local photographer). Surrounded by a slew of puppies, Michael got down on one knee and asked Sarah to spend forever with him... and can we just say, it was epic.

And here we are now... with me getting the ultimate privilege to capture the rest of their story, starting with their engagement photos then their wedding in May. These two chose Camp North End for their e-sesh to match the urban vibe of their Loray Mill wedding, and of course I was fully on board as it's one of my favorite places to shoot. And I swear, after capturing these images and this authentic love, shooting here again is gonna be near impossible to top. There weren't flowing gowns and tuxedos, a face full of makeup and glam, or anything spectacular, yet this session gave me such life and took the number one spot of my favorite session to date... because once again, I don't shoot because of the location or the preparations, I shoot and I feel because of the people and the energy and the connection. And Sarah and Michael were everything.

I'm beyond honored to share these photos with you (and folks, can I just say, it's a tiny sampling, as their album was the largest amount of photos I've ever sent a couple - that tells you something right there!) and so thankful to Sarah and Michael for trusting me with capturing their intimacy and personality, and also for doing weird things for me when I felt extra creative. Camp North End makes a person's oddities come out.
